Email | Customize Email Layouts/Templates
E
Elizabeth Burkhalter
Please allow more customization options for emails templates.
1) ability to change size of article title. Currently the box is very large.
2) ability to change size of logo used in header bar, without altering it on our website
3)ability to insert Calendly scheduling image, not just a link, in body of email
4) ability to customize footer, separately from updating profile. We have an office of several advisors and would like some emails to come from different people by simply editing the footer, not changing the entire profile in FMG
Thank you

Creating Emails to send to groups or even individually
M
Mark Brodinsky
The challenge with emails in FMG is a bit archaic, not being able to design really pretty emails in Word and then transfer over with graphics etc, presents a challenge. How can we step this up?
Thanks, Mark Brodinsky

Having the ability to toggle back and forth between multiple (previously approved) email design templates
T
Tanner Hyland
I'd like the ability to change email designs, that have already been previously approved by compliance, depending the group of people i'm looking to communicate/ market toward.
For example, our firm does a lot of 401k and Financial Planning work and i'd like to have multiple differnet email designs where i can easily select the "401k Email Design" or the "Financial Planning Email Design." Currently, everytime i change it, it has to go through compliance to get approved which could take a couple of days and is a hassle of adding the different signatures. logos, colors, etc.
Another example is I'm trying to market toward a large Indepenedent Insurance Association for 401k services. There are 180 different independent insurance agencies who are all members of this association which has it's own logo and color scheme. I'd like to create an email design template of their own association branding (has been approved by associaiton) and send them a monthly newsletter. Then if i desired, switch back to our financial advisory firm and send the same message to our own prospects and clients with a different email design just a few moments later.
I'm certain there are others who use FMG who would love this as well. Please make it happen!!

Request: More Advanced FMG Email Templates and Design Flexibility
D
Dolores Mitchell
Could you please add more advanced email templates and expand the design flexibility within FMG?
Right now, most templates feel very basic and rectangular, and even when we try to customize, the layout still ends up looking like the same block format. In practice, that is a problem because most prospects will not engage with a heavy text email unless it looks premium at first glance.
One specific need we cannot solve today is a true introductory “about our team” email that functions like a digital brochure. We want something with a high quality, full width banner, strong image placement, and a clean layout that highlights who we are without reading like a long letter. Ideally, it supports very high resolution imagery so the banner and photos look crisp, not compressed.
More broadly, what we are trying to achieve is a more polished, high end presentation with modern layouts. Specifically:
More template variety beyond simple rectangular blocks, including options with layered sections, segmented shapes, and more visually engaging structures.
Better control over image presentation, including banner sizing, image cropping, spacing, and placement so the email can feel designed rather than stacked.
Support for high quality imagery so photos do not look compressed or blurry.
More flexibility to build our own layouts without being forced into a rigid block grid.
We really like FMG and want to keep scaling with it. The goal is simply to deliver a more top tier, visually compelling client experience that matches what high net worth clients expect from professional marketing.
Thank you,

Multiple Named Email Design Templates

Would like unique banners instead of just logo, for specialty newsletters or email type. Could name design to use and apply to email when creating.

Client suggested in a phone call that implementing the option to include a picture, a form and/or ebook, and more information in the email signature on their Weekly Marketing Insights would be beneficial.

Enhance Design & Functionality

Trammell Cooper
Couple thoughts to pass on up the chain:
- Update Email Design: The current email design is outdated. A modern update is needed.
- Button Functionality: Allow buttons created to be usable in all emails. The current limitation is not practical.
- Enhance Layout Customization: More options for layout customization would improve communication effectiveness.

Custom colors for email footer hyperlinks
L
Lucila Williams
The default color on the email foot is teal. It does not respond to any of the customizing on the website. The color should be customizable for hyperlinks and if they aren't, they should be classic blue. Right now, they are teal and look like they have been poorly designed.

Email Builder Improvements | More Customization Options

Currently, we use Constant Contact and just developed a website with you and signed up for your email feature. I am shocked to see how limited I am in customizing fonts, image size, link colors, box sizes, etc. The emails look nothing like our brand and until this is rectified, we will continue to use CC for our email needs.
