Email Sequence Editing

John Askin
I had the same issue as Brian with this. I made a custom email sequence to send out when clients request a PDF I made. However, I submitted to compliance for review and since they rejected it I have to make edits. The problem is that I can't simply go back to that sequence, make the edits, and then resubmit. I have to start from square 1 and re-do the entire thing. As advisors who really need to dedicate 100% of their time to business development and clients this is a huge time drainer and would be an easy fix to make our lives easier. Please resolve.

I hope Promotion email sequences that are rejected can still be recovered. Clients take time to edit the generic email sequences and this is wasted when their sequence get rejected and cannot be recovered.

Can't make edits to EMAIL SEQUENCE...

I recently built an email series and published it so my BD compliance team could review. Unfortunately, I found out today that once it's published it can no longer be edited. I have to rebuild the series from scratch, SO frustrating. Having a "Publish" button isn't clear, it should instead say "Submit To Compliance", plus be able to make edits once compliance add their required changes.

Easily duplicate, edit and access email series

The way it is setup now the email series, once launched, isn't easy to duplicate the original. I'm onboaring people every month and want to duplicate my onboarding series for each person and I'm not seeing how this is possible without starting over again.

You should be able to update the email list for email sequences once they are scheduled. If the email sequence is scheduled for a group of people, as the group is updated in the CRM the list of emails should also be updated.
If I have a client that opts out after the first email, they shouldn't get the rest of them during the year. Also, if during the year I add a client to the group, they should get the rest of the scheduled emails.

It would be very helpful to have the functionality to edit a message in a series after it's scheduled.

I had a typo in a sequence that was approved and ready to be emailed. The problem is -- you cannot edit an approved sequence! I frustratingly had to delete the whole sequence and create a series of standalone emails as I couldn't edit the original sequence, and you cannot Promote twice! Please fix this.

Sequences Suck - Please Update

Please allow for saving sequences or at least editing. Should not have to delete and recreate the whole sequence if you need to make an edit. That's just stupid.
Also - then if you delete the sequence and try to make a new one... guess what. You can't. Because it says that you've already promoted the event. Lots of bugs.

Sequences Suck Part 2

Forgot to add that if a sequence is rejected by compliance, you don't have access to it to make edits. So you have to recreate it.
