I am reaching out because FMG no longer allows for more than 2 Linkedin Connections. Which means some of our advisors are no longer able to have our social media content pushed to their social media account. We used to have at least three connections available for Linkedin.
I was told that the work-around is to add a personal/additional advisor account through your sales team so that all of our advisors can utilize a feature that we used to be able to access. Which, if I'm being honest, feels like a money grab.
The fact that FMG is limiting the number of connections seems ill-advisable as most advisors' offices have multiple advisors on social media as well as a main company social page and limiting our ability to connect social media accounts means that not everyone's professional accounts has a cohesive brand and posts. And it puts more onus on the advisors that are not linked to have to go in and reshare posts that they shouldn't have to as your social media connections were meant to eliminate the need to do that.
