Separate URLs for videos I create and post

I am creating videos and hosting them on my YouTube channel. However, my main goal is to drive people to my website. When I post the videos to social media, I want the link to go straight to the video on my website, not YouTube. Right now, the only way I can have the social media post link directly to a video is to use my YouTube link. I would rather drive people straight to my website. It would be helpful to be able to have a unique URL for each video I am posting to my website. That way, when the video is over, they will stay on my website longer. If they go to YouTube, they will start looking at other videos from other people.

Hello Bud Milligan! Thank you for your reaching out; we would love to help with that. You can add your youtube videos to your website with the following steps.
- create a new web page or edit an existing web page
- click the "+" button or the "Add section" button
- In the widget area, add the "HTML Code" section
- In another window, go to your youtube video and click the "Share" button
- In the "Share" popup, click on "Embed" and copy that code
- Return to your website editor window
- Paste the embed code you just copied in the widget area of your web page.
- Save the page
I've also included a video walkthrough as well. Let us know if this works for you.

Hi Brandon Brown. Thank you for your reply. I am successfully posting YouTube videos to my website, and they are all on the same page, "Videos." My problem is that I cannot post a link to an individual video on social media unless I post the link to the YouTube video, ultimately bypassing my website and taking viewers to my YouTube channel. If I post the URL to the "Videos" page, the viewer has to browse through the other videos to find the one my post was about. That is too cumbersome for most people, and I'll lose them. I would rather have a unique URL for each video that takes them to my website, not YouTube. Otherwise, they will start looking at other videos from other advisors.

Bud Milligan: Hi Bud! Thanks for sharing this feedback. I will pass along to the team your interest in uploading videos to your website.

Bud Milligan In the meantime, I wanted to share a work around, for how to link to a specific video in your Videos page.
Here is a video walkthrough of how to do this:

Walkthrough--
- Go to your video page, and click on the Widget section that has your video
- You'll see the embed code you've added. Find the word "iframe" and add this after that -> id="yourtextgoeshere"
- example of what it will look like -> <iframe id="test1" ...>
- once you do that, you can send links to your video page and just a "#" plus the name you gave that id.
- example of what it will look like when you post the link to that specific video on social media -> https://www.fmg.com/videos#test1
You will still be able to link to your Video page each time, but it will auto-scroll to the video you added the ID to.
