Hello everyone! We launched the ability to verify a bounced contact! 🎉This will allow you to update the bounced email status for a contact if it's a valid email address. You can learn more about this new feature in this help article: https://help.fmgsuite.com/en/articles/1362824-managing-bounced-emails#Verify-Bounced-Contacts

Hi everyone! We're excited to share that work is underway to add email verification for bounced contacts! This will allow you to update emails with a bounced status. Stay tuned - we will share an update once this has been released!

I'm having issues with emails bouncing from email accounts I know are valid. The response I get from FMG is, "Sorry, tell the client to get a new email address". These are clients who have used the same email address for years and it works for everything EXCEPT anything sent from FMG

Good news! We will address this in 2026 with a feature that allows users to opt-in bounced emails if their emails pass an email validation check.

Allow SPAM or BOUNCE email addresses to be fixed

There should be a way to fix contacts marked as SPAM or BOUNCE, especially if this is due simply to a glitch in the email servers (for example, only 1 out of hundreds of sent emails getting flagged). There must be a way to work with Mailgun to fix these one-off issues and not force our clients to change their email address.

I find it pretty much inexcusably unacceptable that there isn’t some way to “override” the system when a client says, “My email is right, it’s been right for 30 years, it’s right for everyone else who emails me, please correct it in YOUR system” and you essentially snub your nose at them and tell them to create a new email (just for FMG)? How is that "client focused?"

FMG should provide more support for unbouncing emails rather than just adding a new email, which can sometimes be only a temporary fix. A permanent solution for bounced emails should be offered.

Our client updated her email, and we changed it in your system, but it is still showing a bounced status. If FMG is not an email host or provider, why is there an option to send emails through the platform? Offering this feature without proper support is very frustrating.

One of our clients only has one email address and does not want to create a new one. There should be a way to undo the bounced email and reset the system.

I have two employees we added to our contacts. Due to email/IT security, both of their emails bounced when we sent out our first test email. I am being told that is irreversible even though our IT has now added FMG as a safe sender. Is it true that once an email is bounced it can no longer be used? If so, that is a really horrible policy. It's one thing if an email is entered wrong, but if it was filtered out and then fixed, it should be allowed to try again. Your competitors do this.
